Where Are We Staying?
We have selected a few private villas next door to each other for our friends and families to stay. We think it will create a fun community atmosphere that is private, intimate, and lively! The villas will host activities during the festivities. Imagine A Moveable Feast for you and your new friends, as you mingle and enjoy each villa during your stay - every picture on this page is from one of the villas where you'll be staying!
Why a Villa?
Picture yourself waking in a private, luxurious Mexican villa to the calming sounds of the ocean outside your window, and a cool breeze whafting through your window. After enjoying a leisurely breakfast, the only decision you need to make for the day is whether to go shopping, lay by the private pool, take a walk along the beach, or enjoy one of the many adventurous tours available. This is your vacation — spend the days as you desire!
What's Included?
Each villa has a pool, kitchen, a cook, a housekeeper, and spacious living areas to socialize or enjoy privacy. Every room has air-conditioning and its own en-suite bathroom. Many of the communal areas are open-air; and since we'll be at the top of the mountain, will be filled with cool tropical breezes. Finally, each villa is luxuriously appointed: you can drink the water as it is purified throughout the villa, each villa has WiFi (in case you want to Skype your friends about what an awesome time you are having), 300 thread-count Egyptian cotton sheets, Vonage for free US calls, a washing machine, and hair dryers.
What's the Cost?
We have negotiated a rate of $160 per room per night ($135 + 18% tax); this rate includes all taxes and fees. That's cheaper than the Holiday Inn, and infinitely swankier!
We will provide the essentials in your villa, but if your housemates want more, there are many options. Puerto Vallarta has small and large markets, ranging from the local mercado to CostCo. Your friendly staff will go shopping for you, or you can go shopping for yourself. Tipping the staff is strictly voluntary although customary in Mexico. As a guideline, it is customary for each guest to pay a propina (gratuity) of $3 to $5 USD to each staff member per day, on the last day of your stay.
Each villa will have a guest designated as the point person to collect gratuities, make shopping lists, etc. Once we figure who's coming, we will put you in touch with that person. Finally, If you choose to do any adventure tours, golf, or spa trips, those are of course your responsibility.
How Do I Sign Up for this Awesome Place?

*"If you are lucky enough to have lived in Paris as a young man, then wherever you go for the rest of your life, it stays with you, for Paris is a moveable feast." (A.E. Hotchner, on Hemingway) We believe this is true of Mexico, too!
